Denver College of Nursing, with a core mission of providing excellence in nursing education, is typically interested in faculty with recent clinical expertise and faculty with teaching experience in medical-surgical nursing and/or critical care nursing of adults. Teaching at our college includes students in associate degree, baccalaureate degree and masters degree nursing programs. Qualified candidates have:
- Four years of full-time clinical practice
- An unencumbered license as a registered nurse
- Documented knowledge and skills related to the teaching of adults, teaching methodology, curriculum development and evaluation
- A master’s degree in nursing (minimum; doctorate preferred)Prior post-graduate teaching experience preferred
